The Santa Fe Public Library catalog will be undergoing maintenance this evening, Wednesday, April 22nd and will not be available beginning at 8:00 PM. Databases will not be accessible as well. The catalog and databases should be available again tomorrow, Thursday, April 23rd. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Southside Book Sale, April 18-19

The Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library is holding a weekend sale at the Southside Branch Library on April 18 and 19, 2015.

No "members only" time. Open to the public all hours of the sale.

Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Hardback books are $1.00. Paperback books are $.50 or 3/$1.00. Media is real cheap, too.
Special items will be individually priced.

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. is Bag Day! Fill a paper bag full for $5.00. Bags are  provided.

Teachers are encouraged to attend on Sunday starting at 2:00 p.m. All materials used in classrooms or other educational programs are free. Please show identification upon arrival.

Digital Magazines Are Now Available From the Santa Fe Public Library

The Santa Fe Public Library has expanded its digital collection with the addition of OverDrive Periodicals at http://sanfe.lib.overdrive.com. This new collection features over 60 popular digital magazines, including Car & Driver, Golf Digest, National Geographic, Dwell, Glamour, Outside, Wired, and many others.

Users can check out periodicals on the same digital library website where they currently borrow eBooks.  All that is required is a valid Santa Fe Public Library card and to create a NOOK account. Titles can be read via a NOOK tablet device or Free NOOK Reading App available on Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), Android (Phones & Tablets) and Windows 8 (PCs & Tablets).

“The Library is so pleased to offer online magazines to our patrons, in addition to our popular eBooks and eAudiobooks. In response to patron requests, the Library now has over 60 magazines online,” stated Patricia Hodapp, Director of Libraries.
