Library Art Happenings

This month's Southside branch featured artist, (Nova) Cynthia Barker, will give a talk about her exhibit, Aphrodite’s Gardens of Delight, this Friday, June 27th at 3 p.m. in the Southside Cafe Meeting Room. All are welcome!

In other Southside art news, there is a call for art at the Southside Branch and the Main Library as well!

Artists wishing to exhibit their work at the Southside Branch, 6599 Jaguar Drive, should fill out a Southside Branch Art Application. The Southside Branch Art Committee will set a date to review and schedule art displays. For more information, please call John Pinkston at (505) 955-2824, or Molly Masse at (505) 955-2823.

Artists wishing to exhibit their work at the Main Library, 145 Washington Avenue, may bring a completed Main Library Art Application and three representative pieces of work for review to the Library's Pick Room on the first Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Paintings, as well as photographic exhibits, will be considered. The Main Library also has glass cases for displaying three dimensional works. For more information, please call the Main Library Reference Desk at (505) 955-6781.
